...It's so beautiful. I've been thinking for some time that oval racing in LFS needs more variety, this could be part of the solution.

I have to agree a bit with dawes, if you're looking to buy all the content it's a small fortune, the subscription price is more manageable however.

Either way, I can't see this influencing the development of LFS much. I think it's already evident that the actions of other sims haven't done much to motivate the devs in the past.

I just tried it on the demo version, sadly without a headmount, so I didn't get the full effect, nonetheless I'm very impressed!

I'm really considering picking up a headmount and the full version of your app. Do you have any advice on what headmount to look for? Are there any I should stay away from?

To me it seems like they got over-zealous with the rubber on the track surface, and gave the textures too much darkness and contrast. Some higher quality trees also couldn't hurt, but overall it's a nice looking track.

EDIT: By higher quality trees I meant 3D trunks and branches. The textures he used are already pretty HQ.

My specs. I typically run at a constant 200fps on LFS with settings maxed, and hover around 40-60 on more "modern" games at medium graphics.

Asus P5VE HDMI Mobo, Rosewill 750M PSU, Intel Core 2 Quad [email protected], Rosewill RCX-ZAIO-92 CPU Cooler, ATI Radeon HD6670, 2x Seagate ST1000DM003 (RAID1) and a random Samsung Blu-Ray drive... All wrapped up in a HP Pavillion Elite case that I rattlecanned to be all black.

Yeah, if I would have been better at the start and on restarts, I doubt we'd have been separated for so long. When we got hooked up we really flew. I think it's safe to say that was the best race I've had in LFS yet, the finish was a bit iffy though.
